By John Stenen In Genesis 3: we are told that a Redeemer would one day come. The prophet Micha tells us where Jesus would be born hundreds of years before His birth. King David and the prophet Isaiah tell us of his death hundreds and hundreds of years before it happened. Daniel tells us when he would come and die. The list of Scriptures telling us of the coming Savior could go on and on and on. Here it is, two thousand years since our Savior came and died for each one of us in order that we could escape hell and gain heaven; and He is ignored, rejected and cursed by many.
We have all been given the gift of life from God. On our journey through life we are on many different paths. We all have various religious beliefs of how we got here and where we are going; is there life after death or do we just cease to exist? Others are agnostics or atheists. Regardless of what you may believe concerning God, Scripture tells us that at the end of whatever path we follow through life, at the end of that life you will face Jesus! You will either be blessed having known Him as your Lord and Savior, or you will face Him as your Judge. (See Revelation 20: 11-15). It will either be eternity in heaven or hell, the choice is yours. Jesus said to the religious leaders of His day who rejected Him, “You will not come unto Me that you might have life.” (John 5:40). Please do not make the mistake they made. There is only one true path that leads to eternal life and that path is straight and narrow. See (Mt. 7:13-14).In this Christmas season, receive Him into your heart by faith and become His disciple. Today would be a great day to do it. God bless.
