By John Stenen There are tens if not hundreds of thousands of people in India who have it as their supreme desire in life to be filled with demons. When filled, they believe their life will be immune to attack or harm from the evil forces. Yes, they do believe in a good God as well as reincarnation and many other gods also; but since the other ‘gods’ do not harm them, they do not worship them. I read once that there is in the neighborhood of 300,000 gods worshiped in India.
Wouldn’t it be something if all Christians in our nation would have a supreme desire to be filled with the precious Holy Spirit? Jesus commanded Christians to be filled with the Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 5:18). Why? He desires to fill us so that we also can be empowered from on High to live righteously and holy as He commands us to live. To live above the evil in this world; to resist all the temptations that plague us constantly; to have power over all evil forces, (Luke 10:19-20; Mark 16:15-18, Acts 1:8). Jesus said in Luke 11:13, that if we being evil, know how to give good gifts to our children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him. Have you asked and received by faith the in-filling of the Holy Spirit? God bless.
