By John Stenen When I was thirteen years old living in Minneapolis near the Mississippi river, my playground was on the banks of the river with all its sandstone caves and Indian trails. At our favorite swimming hole one day, a boy my age was drowning in twenty feet of water. I jumped in and managed to get him to shore; and of course, he nearly drowned me in the process. He was so grateful for what I had done for him and thanked me over and over. I also was thankful to see him saved, but it does not compare with sharing Jesus Christ with one who is lost and seeing them get saved. Jesus said in John 3:3 “Except a man be born-again, he will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven.” Are you positive you are saved? Are you committed to Christ and living each day for Him? All your good works will never be enough to save you. Read Ephesians 2:8-10. Water baptism cannot save you, it requires being washed in the blood of the Lamb. Water cannot wash away your sin, only the blood of Jesus can. People are dying every day and going to a Christless eternity; please don’t be one of them. God bless.
