By John Stenen Many different groups are supposedly fighting for social justice. In the minds of many, they believe that social injustice is the cause of many wars and social conflict. They say they are tolerant and willing to include everyone. It has been my observation that they often do not include Christians, Jews, or conservatives. It seems to me that they are striving to build a utopia, a wonderful world without God. A world without God would be a horrible world. Just read the Book of Revelations to see what I mean.
Christians are not to strive to build a better world, they are to go into all the world and make disciples of Christ. Jesus Christ is the only One who can change the hearts of the vilest sinner who comes to Him. When a person is truly converted to Christ, and they grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ, they walk in love and forgiveness towards others. They work, and pay their taxes and bills. They obey the law and do good and not evil.
Following the coming ‘seven year tribulation,’ Jesus Christ is going to set up His Kingdom here on earth and rule from Jerusalem for one thousand years. He will rule righteously; there will be no crooked judges, the world will have perfect social justice, and at the end of the one thousand years, Satan will be loosed from the bottomless pit and will lead many in a rebellion against Christ. Why? Because they, like us today, will have a choice - to choose to love and serve Christ or reject Him. What will you do with Him? I hope you will choose Him and receive His everlasting life. God bless.
