By John Stenen The Bible tells us in Hebrews 13:8 that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. I believe that scripture is for today. I believe that He still heals and delivers. Many of my brothers and sisters in Christ do not believe He does that anymore. That’s alright, I still love them. I have been witness to many wonderful, powerful healings over the years, so I cannot be convinced that Jesus does not heal supernaturally today. I wish to see more in the future, and like many, I wonder why it is that many do not receive their healings.
Salvation is also available to all today, so why is it that many will not be saved? My point is this, as great as it is to experience a physical healing, we are all going to physically die one day. So the next question is this; where will you go to spend eternity? Some believe we just cease to exist, -we vanish into nothing. They believe there is no heaven or hell, and no judgment. If you believe that, I feel sorry for you. We will all physically die, unless we are a Christian, when Jesus comes for His Church.
If you are a Christian, you will indeed ‘vanish’ from your physical body and be caught up to meet the Lord Jesus Christ in the air. Read 1 Thess. 4:1318 and 1 Cor. 15:51-58. God’s love for you and I, in spite of all our sinfulness, is so great that He gave His Son, Jesus Christ, to suffer and die for you. If you are truly sorry for all your sin, and repent, and are willing to receive Christ into your heart by faith, (John 1:12; John 3:16), you will be saved. God’s future plans for His children are going to be so fantastic that we cannot even begin to comprehend it all. Won’t you give your life to Christ now?
God bless.
