GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY TAKES 6TH PLACE IN STATE MEET

NORTHFIELD, MN - The Warrior girls head to Northfield, MN on Friday, November 5, for the 2021 State XC meet. On Saturday, November 6, the Warriors ran at 1 pm that afternoon. It was a beautiful day for running and the Warrior girls team placed 6th out of 16 teams.

With stellar performances from Amanda and Ashley Overgaauw lead the Warriors. Amanda Overgaauw took 1st place out of 160 runners and became a State Champion. Ashley Overgaauw captured 6th place while recovering from an injury to take a top 10 spot. Brylei Schreier took 61 st, Ella Stapek 99th, Megan Bakke 112th, Quinti Parra Mendez 117th, and Ryan a Schreier 147th. The alternates were Lindsey Hause and Lily Daniels.

Overall the Warriors had a great season and are looking forward to the track season.
