By Kathy Schwartz, Murray County Master Gardener Let your garden evolve. You can move it, prune it, shape it and change it. No two gardens are alike, so do what you like.
Consider adding a layer of mulch to the soil surface of your container gardens to retain moisture and reduce watering needs.
If planning a border to add interest to your yard, plant multiples of the same variety. A large planting of a small shrub, five or six of the same variety, planted together makes a great statement.
