Yellow leaves on a tree usually mean something is wrong further down the tree. It could be a nutrient deficiency. That does not mean the leaves will turn brown or drop. It could be a drought. It could have been weed whipped or girdled. The cause could be turf fertilizer applied during hot, dry weather.
Order spring-flowering bulbs now for fall delivery. This will give you time to prepare to plan them.
