By: Kathy Schwartz, Murray County Master Gardener Spring bulbs that failed to bloom won’t do any better next year. Dig them up and replace them in the fall.

Stop picking rhubarb and asparagus at this time so the plants can gather more energy for next years growth. You can plant both of these now.

Pinch back leggy petunias to encourage branching all along the stems. Cut stems back above a set of leaves.
