Fulda Public Schools Junior High Choir
Monday evening, the Fulda Public School choirs delivered Christmas cheer through the selection of musical numbers that were performed. Opening the Holiday Choir Concert, under the direction of Matthew Saxman, was the Junior High Boys Choir. Their number was “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch”, which is from the 1966 TV special How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The entire Junior High Choir sang “Chariot’s Coming’! (Swing Low, Sweet Chariot)”, which was followed by the Junior High Girls Choir as they performed “Santa Baby”.
“Merry Christmas, Darling” was sung in a solo presentation by senior soprano Taylor Anderson, who is also the soprano section leader.
When the Senior High Choir took to the stage, they sang “Honey, I’m Good”, “Stay With Me”, and “Sending You a Little Christmas”. The Senior High Choir closed the concert with a Christmas Carol Medley that included “Angels We Have Heard on High”, “Away in a Manger”, and “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing”.
For your continued Christmas music enjoyment, the Fulda School Bands will present their annual Holiday Concert on Monday, December 15th, at 7 p.m. in the gymnasium of the high school. All are invited to attend.
