Eight Fulda High School FCCLA chapter students will be attending the National Leadership Conference this coming July. Zoe Nelson, Emma Nielsen, Ruth Ethridge, Vincent Bray, Cullen Vanderbeek, Mara Clarke, and Grace Sawadogo will travel to Washington on the 250th birthday of the United States and attend the conference from July 6th to the 10th.
While there the students will hear dynamic speakers, and receive leadership training from National Officers and Staff as well as some of the top leadership trainers in the country. They will learn about new and exciting service projects, see the national election process, and network with thousands of students from all across the US.
Zoe, Emma, and Ruth will compete in National Programs in Action and Vincent, Cullen, Mara, Grace, and Brynlee will compete in Parliamentary Procedure as they strive to bring home the gold and finish in the top 10 of entries from the nation.
The students will also get to watch the national fireworks, take in some of Washington DC’s incredible museums, see the White House and Capitol Hill, and attend a Washington Nationals game.
