Fulda residents have watched as the CSAH 2 infrastructure work that was planned by Bollig Engineering, Willmar, MN, began a number of weeks ago. At the Fulda City Council meeting that was held on Monday, December 1, 2025, both Jordan Odegard, Project Engineer, and Cam Larson, Project Manager with Bollig Engineering were present to share information regarding the progress of the project.

Larson stated that crews were diligently striving to complete the work on Front Street by Wednesday evening, December 3rd. “There is a second crew in town and they are trying to get as many utilities in the ground as they can. After that we will create a gravel path that can be driven on and open that road to traffic. Unfortunately, cold weather intervened and the road was unable to be opened.

Odegard reported that the trenchless sanitary sewer under US Highway 59 has been completed, and the contractor is working to install sanitary sewer to the west. Approximately 1,300 linear feet or sewer has been installed with a little over 800 linear feet remaining.

The future schedule for the project is to have substantial completion by June 15th, 2026, with the 11-month warranty inspection scheduled for sometime in October or November of 2027.
