The Slayton Women of Today is once again excited to be sponsoring their annual Father Daughter Prom on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at Gullord Park in Slayton. Dads it’s time to make some special memories with your daughter(s). Dance the afternoon away at the park with music by DJ Pete Beerman.
All ages are welcome! The cost is $5 per father/daughter(s). Punch and snacks will be provided and all daughters will have a chance to register for door prizes to be given away. LA Photography will be on hand from 12:30 to 1:45 to capture the magical event with picture packages available for families to purchase. The grand march will begin at 2:00 pm with dance to follow until 4:00 pm.
Family members and friends are encouraged to come and watch the grand march for a cost of $1 per person. (Everyone is encouraged to bring your own lawn chair.) We are encouraging families to arrive early for pictures with LA Photography and to take any pictures they would like before the start of the grand march. The dance will start immediately following the grand march and all family members/guests will be asked to leave at this time…yes moms that means you too!
Registration is not required and payment can be made at the door the day of the event. Hope to see all dads and daughters there!
