Join us on Saturday, June 15th at End O Line Railroad Park and Museum in Currie, MN for our annual Open House event. The park will be open from 10am-5pm. The park’s historic buildings will be open for self-guided tours during this time. Normal Park admission will be waived for the day in lieu of free-will donations. Snacks and refreshments available while supplies lasts.
At 2pm Dan Peterson will be speaking about his new book Takini: The Story of Julia Silsby (Wright/Lloyd/Cole). Dan’s Book tells the story of Mrs. Julia Wright who was taken captive along with her two children by the Dakota at Lake Shetek on August 20, 1862.
