MURRAY COUNTY 4-H CELEBRATES VOLUNTEERS DURING NATIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEK
for the 4-H Youth Development Program. Research shows that Minnesota 4-H volunteers help youth gain leadership skills, serve their communities, improve their decision-making skills and develop career readiness.
We are honored to have one volunteer that has been volunteering for 50 years! Dennis Opdahl has dedicated 50 years of volunteering for Murray County 4-H. 8 years as a Murray County 4-H’er, a club leader for the Badger Lake 4-H Club for close to 50 years, and a great mentor to more youth than we can track. The success of the Murray County 4-H program and our 4-H Clubs are because of people like Dennis. Thank you Dennis and to our other 126 volunteers for all that you do for Murray County 4-H!
The work of 4-H volunteers is continuous. Every day volunteers lend a helping hand to make 4-H programs more beneficial to the residents of Murray County.
