Court Queen of Peace met in the social room of St. Ann’s School on Saturday, March 23 at 9 AM. Regent Amy Kathman with 11 members present called the meeting to order, recited the Memorare and flag pledge. In the absence of the treasurer due to illness, there was no report. Amy read notes from the February meeting. The members were reminded of the dues of $25.
SOS chair Jill McCord collected donations for the 4 seminarians that Daughters are supporting. Youth and Legislative chairs were absent. Jill Mc-Cord, Joyce Risacher and Rita Lear spoke about a recent trip to Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in LaCrosse, WI which featured the Shroud of Turin believed to be Jesus’ burial cloth.
Circle of Love Reports have been sent. No one indicated an interest in attending the National Convention in New Orleans. The Fund-raising committee is looking for a time to meet.
