CONGRATULATIONS TO JENNIFER KIRCHNER – STARS OF LIFE RECIPIENT!

Jennifer Kirchner was honored with the Stars of Life Award by the Minnesota Ambulance Association! This award recognizes exceptional EMS professionals who show unwavering commitment, leadership, and excellence in their communities.

Jenni has been an EMT since 2009 and has served as the Ambulance Director of Murray County Ambulance since 2011. She oversees daily operations, coordinates transfers, handles calls, and keeps everything running smoothly.

“I’m honored to be the recipient of this award. I was not expecting it! My grounding foundation and pure motivation to do my best comes from my family; Jason, Azariah, Amira, Lola, Alli, and Angie! Over the past couple years, I’ve been involved with groundbreaking new technology for EMS. Helping spearhead Telemedicine-in-Motion with Avel throughout our southwest region and throughout the state of MN has been exhilarating and a new frontier of opportunity for EMS. More locally we have grown our service by adding one full-time EMT, Nichole Gunnink, and one part-time EMT, Denise Halbur. This team provides stability and support for our mostly volunteer service. Without the dedication, respect, and sacrifice from our 17 current volunteers, in addition to the 3 of us, I would not have the success and recent recognition of a job well done. This job is not a oneman job, and I wouldn’t be here accepting this amazing award without the hard work of those who stand beside me. This EMS job is walking into the unknown day after day. We show up to play a vital role in health, security, and safety of everyone we serve. No one said it would be easy but, I have the best family supporting me and the best team working beside me. Thank you for this once in a lifetime honor.” Said Kirchner.
