MCC 8th grade 2022-23 Girls Basketball conference runners up! Tough loss to a good HBC team in the championship game . This group of 7/8 grade girls were fun to coach and to watch their progress thru the season. Be proud ladies overall record 16-7 and Conference record 11-1 on the season. Ms. DeLong’s Class had a valentine box contest in which the students were able to pick a category and create their box to be judged by other staff in the district. The five categories were techie, traditional (Valentiney), humorous, hobby, and interests/favorites.
Automotive Parts Headquarters Inc. (APH), a Minnesota-based aftermarket auto parts distributor and store group, named Nikkya Betz as the recipient of the 2022 Auto Value Counter Sales Representative of the Year award. Betz is a counter sales representative for the Sturdevant’s Auto Value parts store in Slayton, Minnesota. She was recently recognized during an awards banquet at APH’s annual Winter Conference at the River’s Edge Convention Center in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
Each year, Auto Value regional and store managers across the Midwest have the opportunity to nominate a counter sales representative they believe deserves the award. According to Betz’s store manager, TJ Gertsema, “Nikkya has a special passion to help the customer and will stop at nothing to achieve that. She also possesses the ability to see the opportunity in every challenge. We’re very proud of Nikkya and would like to once again congratulate her on receiving this well-earned award.”
Betz has been a part of the Sturdevant’s Auto Value team since 2012. When not behind the counter, Betz enjoys spending time with her husband, Aaron, and their children, Alexander and Krystyna.
