Murray County is getting ready for Relay For Life 2026. Kim Maas and Carl Nyquist will be the Honorary Chairs for 2026. Join us in honoring them as well as all cancer survivors at this year’s relay.
If you are a cancer survivor and have not registered with us in the past, please contact Linda Tobias and leave a message or her cell phone at 507.227.7195 to get added to the Murray County list.
This year we will again be celebrating in coordination with the relay team event on Saturday August 8th. Registration will start at 4 pm. Our Relay event will be from 5 to 9 pm this year.
Registering survivors will receive a coupon for a malt and pork burger. The registration table is located near the malt and pork burgers stands.
Your family is encouraged to also patronize the stands and enjoy their meal with you. We ask that all participants park in the south parking lot down by the racetrack. Golf carts will be available to help with transportation to the stage area if needed.
There will be the survivor walk followed by the team parade of champions and an all-survivor butterfly release sponsored by Todd Hieronimus/Totzke Funeral Home. The butterfly release promises to be an awesome sight and experience for all cancer survivors. We are currently working on a couple of different options for entertainment this year.
Survivor shirts will be available on a first come-first serve basis at registration.
