A.C.E. of Southwest Minnesota, a leading provider of volunteer opportunities, Caregiver services, and wellness programs, is pleased to announce the upcoming offering of the Powerful Tools for Caregivers class. This comprehensive educational program is designed to support individuals who are caring for aging parents, spouses, or other loved ones.
Caregiving can be both rewarding and challenging, often requiring individuals to balance their own needs with those of their loved ones. The Powerful Tools for Caregivers class aims to empower caregivers with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to navigate their caregiving journey with confidence and resilience.
The class covers a wide range of topics, including: - Self-care strategies to manage stress and prevent burnout - Effective communication techniques for addressing difficult situations - Making tough caregiving decisions while honoring personal boundaries - Connecting with community resources and support networks Led by experienced facilitators, the Powerful Tools for Caregivers class provides a supportive and interactive learning environment where participants can share their experiences, learn from one another, and gain valuable insights to enhance their caregiving journey.

The Powerful Tools for Caregivers class will be held online via Zoom for 6 consecutive Wednesday evenings, beginning Wednesday, April 29th through Wednesday, June 3rd from 6:00pm – 7:30pm.
