By Arnold Krusemark When most of you readers get this week’s newspaper this will also be the end of February. That means it will also be the end of two months of year 2026.
And what have we gotten accomplished?
We are still getting at least two emails a week from garden supply stores. All seem to have the same messages -- send us an order please. We have things which will produce vegetables or flowers early, some later and some all season long.
And please try something out of the ordinary and something new. Nothing new there.
So far our weather has held out too. We would like some snow too. The ground needs it. If Spring arrives on dry land not much will grow.
If you have not done it already, be sure you have a plot of land for your garden. Murray County does have community garden plots. Check the local Extension office for availability and reservations.
Then back to the gardening catalogues and your house plants.
Until next week.
