FATHER-DAUGHTER PROM SET FOR SUNDAY, MAY 3, 2026
Get your dancing shoes ready — the Slayton Women of Today are thrilled to announce the return of the beloved Father- Daughter Prom on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the MCC High School Gymnasium in Slayton! It’s time to make some magical memories with your daughter(s) — and if Dad isn’t available, no worries! Daughters are welcome to be escorted by a grandfather, uncle, or another special male figure.
Dance the afternoon away with the beats of DJ Pete Beerman and enjoy delicious refreshments. Plus, every daughter will receive a fun door prize! Don’t miss the chance to capture the moment! LA Photography will be on hand from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. offering professional photo packages for purchase. Get there early to snap some sweet memories before the dance begins!
The excitement kicks off with the Grand March at 2:00 p.m., followed by dancing until 4:00 p.m. Family and friends are encouraged to come cheer on the participants during the Grand March for just $1 per person — but once the dancing starts, we kindly ask all guests to head out so the dads and daughters can have their special moment (yes, that includes you, moms!). All ages are welcome! The cost is $10 per father/ daughter(s), payable at the door — no pre-registration required.
