LEE D. LARSON

Lee Larson was born on November 28, 1954, in Slayton, Minnesota to David and Marge Dahlquist Larson. He grew up near Slayton and graduated from Slayton High School in 1973. Lee then attended Jackson Vo-Tech for Auto Mechanics graduating in 1975.

MARCUS STOUT

Marcus Stout and his twin sister Kayla, were born on November 30, 1993 in Maplewood, MN. The doctors said he would not survive, but he developed a fighting spirit on day one of his life. He grew up in St. Paul, MN and attended school there. Marcus was diagnosed as a Type 1 diabetic at age 5 and it became a lifelong fight for him. On November 9, 2003 Marcus and Kayla were adopted by Lisa Stout. They lived in Coon Rapids, MN and then later moved to Pipestone, MN where he was active in band, baseball and video games.

RUTH “JANE” MCFARLAND

Jane McFarland was born on July 6, 1956, in Tyler, Minnesota to Clarence and Jacqueline Pamp Meyer. She grew up in Holland and graduated from Ruthton High School in 1974. That same year on December 7, she and Michael “Fuzzy” McFarland were married in Slayton, MN. Following their marriage, they made their home in Walnut Grove, MN until 1982 when they moved to Lake Wilson, MN. Fuzzy passed away on November 26, 1996. Following Fuzzy’s death Jane remained in Lake Wilson and raised their three children. Over the years Jane worked at Food and Fuel in Slayton, Hank’s in Pipestone, Cenex/Easy Street in Lake Wilson. She was currently working at McDonald’s in Pipestone. Jane passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at the Pipestone County Medical Center in Pipestone, MN at the age of 65. She was a member of the Lake Wilson Community Club and served as a Lake Wilson First Responder. Jane enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren, being outdoors, camping, throwing darts. and motorcycle rides.

GRACE E. JENSEN

Grace Emmagene Jensen, 86, of Westbrook, died on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at the Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. Grace was born on December 25, 1934, to Harold and Evelyn (Olson) Vind in Wisconsin Township, Jackson, Minnesota.

NANCY F. WELLE

Nancy Faye McLellan Welle, 82, of Tracy, passed away at home, surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday, November 23. Nancy was born on February 19, 1939, in Trimont, MN, to Chrystobel (Marsh) and Thomas McLellan.

PAMELA FRIESEN

Pamela Friesen, age 68, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Pam was born on October 13, 1953 in Marshall, Minnesota.

CONSTANCE “CONNIE” PRICE

Constance Kathleen Price, age 76, of Fairmont, Minnesota and previously of Spring, Texas, died on Friday, November 26, 2021, at Goldfinch Estates in Fairmont. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 10:30 AM at St.

LINDA L. PETIT

Linda Lea (Langland) Petit, 78, of Tracy, was born on April 5, 1943, in Slayton, MN, to John and Myrtle (Marsh) Langland. She grew up and attended school in Slayton. On September 1, 1961, she was united in marriage to Dallas Petit. The couple lived in Slayton, then Herman, before moving to Tracy in 1967. Linda was a hard worker. She did cleaning at the Tracy Hospital, Methodist Church and Post Office. She also volunteered at the Senior Center, for Boy Scouts and for the Red Cross Blood Drive. Linda was a very caring and affectionate person. She enjoyed stamping and spending time with her friends and family. She had lived at the Prairie View Healthcare Center for several years while she struggled with dementia. Recently she moved to the Franklin Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Franklin, MN. She died there on Thursday, November 4, 2021.

DELORES A. RACHUY

Delores Rachuy was born on August 13, 1931, on the family farm near Kinbrae, Minnesota to Patrick and Elsie Christensen O’Neil. She grew up on the family farm and attended country school. On December 4, 1950, she and Elgie Rachuy were married at the Immanuel American Lutheran (Pfingsten) Church rural Fulda, MN. Following their marriage they farmed near Brewster, MN until 1957 when they moved to a farm south of Slayton, MN. In 1963 they purchased the current farm outside of Slayton. Delores was a hard-working farm wife, raising chickens, pigs and other livestock as well as helping with field work. She kept a large vegetable garden canning much of it for her family and others. Elgie passed away on July 4, 2011. Delores remained on the farm until May 2018 when she became a resident of the Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Fulda. She passed away there on Monday, November 1, 2021, at the age of 90. She was a member of the American Lutheran Church in Worthington, MN and a former member of Faith Lutheran Church in Avoca. She also was a member of the Avoca American Legion Auxiliary. Delores enjoyed gardening, canning, Bingo, playing cards and yes... shopping. Family was a huge passion in Delores life. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were all blessed to call her mom, grandma, and big grandma.

BETTY R. DAHLHOFF

Betty Dahlhoff was born on March 22, 1929, on the family farm near Dundee, Minnesota to LeRoy and Anna Kuehl Leibfried. She grew up on the farm and attended Oaks Lake Country School and graduated from Slayton High School in 1947. She then attended Lamberton Teachers training. On October 11, 1949, she and Leon Dahlhoff were married at St. Ann’s Church in Slayton. Following their marriage, they farmed north of Slayton and raised their 11 children. Leon passed away on November 2, 1994. Betty remained in her home until 2019 when she moved to Sunrise Terrace Apartment in Slayton. Due to failing health Betty moved to Our Hospice Home in Slayton in November 2020. She passed away there on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at the age of 92. She was a member of St. Ann’s Church in Slayton. She also was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, the W.C.C.W and Brookside Circle. Betty was active in RSVP and was a ten-gallon blood donor. Betty enjoyed reading, baking, and square dancing.
