The gospel of John 10:9 says, “I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.” Many have been taught that the Church is the door that brings about our salvation, but this verse proves that that teaching is false. Jesus Christ is the door to our salvation. Your Church and all the wonderful good works that you could possible do can never be enough to save you. Our salvation is only through Jesus Christ. Eph. 2:8-10 says, “For by Grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before -hand that we should walk in them.” After we come to Christ, by faith, good works are to be evident in our lives constantly.
