Mark your calendars for the Plum Creek Library event of “Amelia Earhart and Her Cousin”!
On Thursday, September 17th, 2026, Nancy Earhart Burt, Hastings, MN, will present a program on the life of Amelia Earhart at Fulda City Hall, 7 p.m.
A two-part presentation, during the first half, “Amelia” arrives dressed in costume. She will share highlights of her amazing life story that begins with growing up in Kansas on the banks of the Missouri River. She will talk about moving around a lot as a child, developing her interest in flying, her momentous flying events, her marriage and her thoughts of the role of women.
During this part of the program, “Amelia” will encourage her audience members to find the courage to do what they want to in life!
In the second portion, Amelia’s cousin Nancy will share “The Rest of the Story” about what happened to her famous cousin. There will be an entertaining and education slide show of Amelia’s life - complete with audio and video clips.
Program presenter, Nancy Earhart Burt, is a proud cousin, 3 times removed, to Amelia. Since beginning in 2023, Burt has presented “Amelia Earhart and Her Cousin” in Arizona, South Dakota, Minnesota and Idaho.
