By John Stenen I wonder what Peter meant when he said in Acts 4:12: “There is no other name given among men under heaven whereby we must be saved.” Of course he was talking about Jesus of Nazareth. The reason I ask this question is because I have heard one of the former Presidents of the United States tell us that there are many roads that lead to God. I have also heard over the years, several so-called, ‘ministers of the gospel’ declare that Jesus is not the only way to God. Then I read the words spoken by Jesus Himself in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes unto the Father but by Me.” Then I read in 1 John 5:11-12, “And this is the record, that God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He that has the Son has life; and he that has not the Son of God has not life.” Now who do you believe is correct? My Bible says, “Let God be true and every man a liar.” Romans 3:4. Have you got Jesus? Time is running out. God bless.
