WARRIORS END 2026 SEASON

The F/MCC Warriors finished up their regular season team wrestling last week with a dual on Thursday against TMB Panthers at home with a full gym. On Saturday they traveled to Wabasso to compete in the final four.

REBEL GIRLS WRAP UP REGULAR SEASON, HEAD TO PLAYOFFS

The MCC Rebels Girls Basketball Team have been red hot over the past two and a half weeks, winning five straight games. The Rebels knew they had to start winning the close games they had been losing in the month of January and they knew, for a top seed in the playoffs, they needed to start beating the teams that had knocked them off earlier in the year. That is just what the Rebels did.

FULDA FCCLA FOOD BOX PROJECT AIDS FAMILIES IN NEED

Headed by students Curtis Johnson, Jesse Swanson, and Aidyn Shaddix, the Fulda Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) hosted a Christmas food drive during the holiday season. Donations asked for included canned fruit and vegetables, as well as non-perishable soup, pasta, potatoes, rice and dessert.

It is now past Presidents’ Day and whatever the day of the year, one news item is always newsy - the weather. This past week one day we had it warm enough to go outside with only a shirt (long sleeve) on. The next day we had snow flurries.

COMMUNITY CARE

he Murray County Dementia Awareness Network (MCDAN) is a community-based group formed by residents who share a passion for helping and educating others about dementia. The group works to support loved ones who care for individuals living with the disease, while also advocating for greater understanding within the community.

BEEF QUALITY ASSURANCE TRAININGS TO BE OFFERED VIRTUALLY OR IN PERSON

University of Minnesota Extension, in partnership with the Minnesota Beef Council, will host multiple Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) virtual trainings and in-person certification trainings in the spring of 2026. Producers attending any of the free workshops will receive a three-year BQA certification.
