GREEN THUMB

GOOD NEWS

By John Stenen Millions and millions of bornagain Christians believe that the next event on the prophetic calendar is the ‘rapture’ of the Church. The apostle Paul refers to it in 1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18 and says the day is coming when we who belong to Christ will be ‘caught up’ to meet Christ in the air. That is what the word Rapture means, to be caught away. You can also read about it in 1 Corinthians 15: 52-53 where our bodies will be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye; that is super fast. Imagine what that will do to the world’s economy when we are gone. After the rapture, the Antichrist will be revealed and for the next seven years this earth will experience tribulation as this planet has never had before; read about it from Revelation 6: thru Rev. 18: It tells of horrendous death and destruction. However, many will be saved through the preaching of the gospel from the 144,000 Jewish evangelists, but they will be hunted down and killed by beheading.(See Rev. 7:). The Rapture could come at any moment, and each day we receive is another opportunity to surrender to Christ; but one day is going to be the last day, and when we are caught away, you will be left behind. Please, surrender to Christ today while God’s free gift of eternal life is available. We do not know when He is coming, but neither do we know when we are going to breathe our last. God bless.
