The Rebel boys basketball team would travel to Mountain Lake Friday night for the rematch of two Red Rock Central teams. MCC edged out MLAC in Slayton 79-76 in the first meeting which would prove to be MLAC’s only loss to this point of the season.

The MCC Rebels were back at home on Monday for the first of three games this week. The Rebels played host to the HBC Patriots in a rematch of the Rebel’s biggest win of the season from two weeks ago. The Rebels on that night, fell behind early but would rally and finish the game strong for the win. Monday night the Rebels fell behind big and the Patriots wouldn’t look back.

The MCC Rebel Girls Basketball team wrapped up their week at home for their third straight home game of the week. The Rebels hosted the RTR Knights in the second meeting between the two teams this season. The Knights and the Rebels both have 8 wins this season but the Rebels had three more losses than the Knights coming into the contest. The Knights have proven to be a tough team to beat for MCC over the last several years and that continued on Thursday as the Knights picked up their ninth win.
