The Rebels traveled to Fulda on Thursday last week to play in a triangular against the HLO/F/ WWG Coyotes and SWMCHEHS Eagles.

Although it was a very windy and cold day, the course was in great condition for this time of year. This was a great opportunity for MCC to see the competition they will be facing in conference play.

All the golfers had to battle the wind, especially off the tee box. The wind factored into every stroke for the players with the exception of putting. For the boys Kaden Landsman had a strong varsity debut and led the Rebels with a 50. The boys top four scores were rounded out by Daniel Groen, Lucas Kuball, and Jett Veldhuisen for a total of 214. Ava Johnson led the girls for MCC with a 49 finishing in 1st place individually. Johnson stated she is feeling much more confident in her game this year, and that it’s easier to let go of bad shots or holes. Rachael Huso carded a 51 finishing in 2nd place, and LizzIe Daniels scored a 55 earning 3rd place honors. MCC’s team total was 212, with the fourth score coming from Natalie Einck. The Rebels need to continue working on improving their individual games from
