HELP RELAY MAKE THE HOPE GARDEN A MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE

Relay For Life of Murray County has something new for you this year at our annual event on August 10th at the Murray County Fairgrounds. After much discussion, the committee came up with a new and fun idea. We are going to have a HOPE GARDEN. Yes, you heard that right, a HOPE GARDEN. It will be between the Heritage Hall and the Horticulture building on the north end of the fairgrounds. We will decorate with live flowers and plants with lights to illuminate the area. Hope Sponsors will have a sign in the Hope Garden with their business name or their family name displayed. The cost is $100 per sponsor. We plan on having a quiet sitting area with benches where you can reflect about those who are fighting cancer or have lost their battle.

The Rebels hosted the Coyotes of Heron Lake Okabena Fulda who had played just one game all year compared to the Rebels 5. The Rebels have fallen behind in almost every game they have played this season but that did not happen on Thursday, as the Rebels took control early and never looked back.
