GOOD NEWS

By John Stenen She was just seventeen years old and had been raised in the Church; the sad thing was that she had never surrendered her life to Christ, she allowed the flesh to control her life rather than the Holy Spirit. She felt she was alright with God, after all she wasn’t too bad, and she did attend Church often. However, her Church had a visiting Evangelist minister for a full week and he was really getting through to her with his powerful preaching.

Only Human

We are finite and flawed beings, all of us, and while this may seem like something negative it is the basis, or should be the basis, for our compassion for our fellow creatures, all of whom, like us, need help. Will we sin today? Of course! Will we neglect to do certain things which we should do? Of course! While we may do what we should most of the time and not fall too far from holiness, it is virtually impossible that any of us will be perfect today.
