Slayton City Administrator Josh Malchow informed the Slayton City Council on Monday evening that just hours before the Legislative Session closed, the House and Senate passed a Bonding Bill that includes the city’s 34th Street Project. The amount approved for the project is $2 million. The project will involve full reconstruction from Juniper Avenue to 160th Street. Malchow assumes that the funds will be released sometime during July of 2027.
