GOOD NEWS

By John Stenen In Acts 20:29,30 the apostle Paul said, “I know after my demise, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them.” This was happening two thousand years ago in Paul’s day; false teachers were distorting God’s Word and it has continued until today, throughout Christianity. This is why I cannot encourage you enough, to get into the Bible and study it yourself; this is what the Bible tells us to do, (2 Tim. 2:15). Even when Jesus was in ministry, He said to the religious leaders of His day, that their traditions and doctrines of men have made the Word of God of no effect. I believe you might be surprised at how much is taught in many Churches that is not biblical, but rather traditional and man made doctrine. It would do us all well to see just where we are with God; on the straight and narrow path that leads to eternal life, or on the broad path that leads to eternal damnation? God bless.
