CELEBRATE FALL AT SLAYTON’S ANNUAL PUMPKINFEST!

The Slayton Area Chamber of Commerce invites families to celebrate the beauty of fall at the annual Pumpkinfest, taking place Saturday, October 18 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Murray County Fairgrounds in Slayton. This community favorite offers fun for all ages and is free to attend.

Children from birth through 6th grade are invited to pick out their very own pumpkin from the Pumpkin Patch, with a festive photo area available for families to capture memories of the day.

Additional activities include a petting zoo and horse-drawn carriage rides, while the 4-H Building will be bustling with games, crafts, a bouncy house, and food. “This event is all about bringing the community together to enjoy the season,” said Sheila Crowley, President of the Slayton Area Chamber of Commerce. “It’s wonderful to see families, volunteers, and sponsors come together each year to make Pumpkinfest a success.”

Pumpkinfest is made possible thanks to the generous support of our local sponsors: Nobles Coop Electric, Minnwest Bank, Xcel Energy, Hadley Lion’s Club, Monogram Meats, Slayton Women of Today, Murray County Early Childhood Initiative, and Culligan.

So bundle up, bring the family, and join us for an afternoon of fall fun at Pumpkinfest 2025!
