Psalm 103: is such a wonderful up-lifting portion of Scripture. It reveals how merciful, compassionate, and loving, God is towards us. He is willing to forgive all our sin, and heal all our diseases. So why do we have so many lost sinners and sick people? Especially in the Church? Even the book of Luke, (4:18-20) where Jesus, being back in His own hometown of Nazareth, opened the scroll to Isaiah and read some to the people.

COUNTING THE COST OF COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR’S RESIGNATION

According to the resignation agreement between the Murray County Board of Commissioners and former Administrator Carolyn McDonald, the county will pay McDonald six months of severance pay at a total of $71,750.49 in two lump sums. She is to receive the first half of the severance ($35,875.24) within 15 days after the revocation clause in the agreement, and the other half in calendar year 2026 on or before January 15.

MCC NOVEMBER REFERENDUM VOTE IS APPROACHING

With the ISD 2169 referendum vote just around the corner, Murray County Central Superintendent Joe Meyer told the MCC School Board that 2,530 envelopes were stuffed and mailed to every property owner in the school district for the purpose of notifying them of the special election November 4th.

FULDA SCHOOL BOARD REVIEWS PRELIMINARY FACILITY AND BUILDING DESIGN

By Norma Dittman During their Monday, October 13th, meeting, Fulda School Board reviewed the preliminary facility and building project designs. Superintendent Mike Pagel informed the board members that ground boring has begun, with six holes out of the 24 drilled during the day.

MURRAY COUNTY CHRISTMAS PROJECT

The Murray County Christmas Project is again planning to provide toys and gifts to over 300 eligible children in Murray County. We are accepting donations of toys and gifts for children 0 through 11 years of age. We also need stocking caps and mittens. Monetary gifts are also accepted to help with the purchase of gift items.
