On Friday November 28th from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday November 29th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. come join us for our First Annual “Jingle Bell Market”.
This event will be held at The Plaid Moose, downtown Slayton and is for people of all ages, however the main focus for this event is to help our children enjoy the start of the holiday season.
Bring your child/children to The Plaid Moose with a holiday shopping list of who they would like to pick out items for, along with whatever money you would like them to spend and let our “elves” help them shop. We are blessed enough to have “elves” that are donating their time to take the kids, help them with their lists and then wrap up the gifts so that everything they pick out will be a surprise for their families and friends. Items are starting as low as $0.25 and up.
We also have plenty of items for adults as well, such as Holiday Florals, Tin signs, purses, jewelry and more. All greatly priced to make the Holiday shopping season a lot easier for everyone.
This is a First Annual Event and started with a few friends (we are calling ourselves The Stocking Stuffers) and their “Girls Night”, getting the idea to craft with items we all have sitting around and then wanting to do something good for the community and our kids. Along with items we have crafted, we have also received donations from some great people to help give everyone a little more variety at very low costs. This event is going to be a “First” annual and we are hoping to have enough response to be able to do this yearly as we have truly enjoyed getting ready for this event.
