MCC LOSES AGAINST DAWSON BOYD

The Murray County Central Rebels made the long trek to Dawson last week to take on the Dawson Boyd Blackjacks in a non-conference contest. MCC fell in the first set, 1725, but found a little intensity in the second set falling short, 23-25.

The MCC Rebel volleyball team fell into a regular two match schedule, first facing the Adrian-Ellsworth Dragons on Tuesday, September 12th, in a conference contest. Tough serving by AE put the Rebels on their heels to start set one.

Embrick Engebretson officially homesteaded 160 acres there nearly 15 years before the village of Slayton was even incorporated.
