TEACHER TUITION REIMBURSEMENT ASSISTANCE GUIDELINES APPROVED BY FULDA SCHOOL BOARD

By Norma Dittman Monday evening, November 10th, Fulda School Board members met in regular session.

Discussion was held, and approval given, regarding the ISD 505 Teacher Tuition Reimbursement Assistance Guidelines. For academic programs, a Tier 3 or Tier 4 teacher may be asked, and if mutually agreed upon, will earn additional college credits to obtain licensure or certification in order to teach specific classes. The guidelines lay out rules for compensation of cost of tuition, the number of credits needed for required licensure or certification, and the duration of time that a teacher will be required to provide service to the district.

On the Consent Agenda was a resignation from Megan Oslund, Fulda Elementary preschool teacher, as well as a contract for substitute teacher Andy Oakland.

Reports were heard by the board from Susan Lee, Community Education; Athletic Director, Greg Erdmann; K-6 Principal, Brett Perish; Superintendent and 7-12 Principal Mike Page. The board of directors also updated one another with committee reports.

A Resolution Establishing Combined Polling Places for Multiple Precincts and designating hours during which the polling places will remain open for voting for school district elections not held on the day of a statewide election was approved. The Combined Polling Place is Fulda High School – West End Lobby, 410 N. College Avenue, Fulda, MN. The polling place will remain open from 8 am to 8 pm.

The December meeting of the Fulda School Board is scheduled for December 8th 2025, 6 pm in the high school conference room.
