FOOD VOUCHERS AT PRESENTATION, COLORING CONTEST AND COOLER GIVEAWAY DURING MURRAY COUNTY FAIR
Join us under the tent on Thursday, August 14 at 3:30 pm for a presentation – “Aquatic Invasive Species – Prevention is Key, Introductions have Consequences” from Jeffrey Flory with the MN Department of Natural Resources. Food vouchers will be distributed to all who attend.
A Coloring Contest will be held again this year. All ages are welcome and prizes will be given to all who participate. Three bonus prizes for each category will be determined by drawing. Coloring pages are available in the Murray County Fair Book or can be downloaded at http://murraycountymn. com . Please submit completed coloring pages to the Environmental Services Office the week prior to the fair or at the Water Resource Booth, by the fish tanks, when staff are present.
Test your knowledge of aquatic invasive species and be entered to win a 35-quart Yeti Tundra cooler. One cooler will be given away each day on Thursday, August 14, Friday, August 15 and Saturday, August 16. You do not need to be present to win; however, you must be 18 or older to enter.
