FREE Community Band Concerts every Thursday from June 4-July 9 at 7:00 PM at Gullord Park!
The Slayton Community Band is in full swing and ready to share their talents this season! This year is the 250th anniversary of the United States of America—also known as the Semiquincentennial. Our concerts will be focused on reflection and gratitude of those who have served and are serving our nation in the armed forces, our history as a nation, and our community!
Every concert is going to start with our National Anthem and end with God Bless America! Everyone 18 years and younger are welcome to join the band on stage to sing. The children’s march around the park will also be taking place EVERY week!
Our first concert June 4 has an exciting line up. There is something for everyone! We will play music by John Williams, songs from Aladdin, and end with the Beach Boys just to name a few.
Minnwest and Friends Relay for Life Team will be serving on Thursday, June 4th: Meal: Walking Tacos Cost: $10.00 Serving Time: 5:30-7:00 Come on out to enjoy music, food, and conversation! Be sure to sign up for a Hub Drive In gift card at the start of the concert!
