MUSIC STUDENTS PERFORM SPRING RECITAL

The students of Christie Gergen had a piano recital on May 10, 2026 at the Murray County Central High School. The students played a variety of music from Classical to Jazz. Every student played a solo and a duet. Four students earned trophies this year: Everly Ahlers, Kenzie Platt, Brennly Plotz, and Kianna Platt (not pictured). To get a trophy, students have to play a two- piece memorized program for an adjudicator during the festival that is held annually in February. Students are awarded up to five points every year, and once they have earned a total of 15 points, they receive a trophy.
