MOGER RECEIVES QUILT OF HONOR

On May 13, 2026, US Army Vietnam War Veteran, Arland Moger, was presented with a Quilt of Valor. The quilt was given in honor, appreciation and thanks for his service; and to bring comfort, peace and healing. Kerry Cassens of the Patriotic Piecers QOV group of Pipestone, presented his quilt.

Arland served in the US Army from 1968-1970. He completed basic training at Ft Campbell, KY and advanced training at Ft. Huachuca, AZ. He was assigned to the Chief of the Army, at the Pentagon. He monitored domestic riots, preparing and sending troops to respond to places like Kent State, Detroit and Kansas City. Thank you Arland, for your service.

Anyone can submit a QOV nomination for a veteran or active military service member to receive a QOV quilt.
