The Southwest Regional Development Commission (SRDC) Full Commission will meet on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at 3:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Mn West Room on the south side of the Redwood County Government Center, 403 S. Mill Street, Redwood Falls, MN.
MINNESOTA FARMERS UNION
The Murray, Nobles, Rock and Pipestone County chapters of the Minnesota Farmers Union will be holding their annual county conventions on Sept 11 at the Grain Exchange in Slayton. We will have social hour, ordering off the menu, starting at 6 PM with business meeting at 7PM. MFU is a grassroots organization that advocates for a wide range of agricultural issues. NAPS COMMODITY FOOD PROGRAM
Nutrition Assistance for Seniors (NAPS) has changed the name to Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) in the Slayton area, sponsored by Second Harvest Heartland distribution will be held at the office of A.C.E. of Southwest Minnesota – Murray County at 2989 Maple Rd., Slayton, MN. Distribution will take place on Thursday, September 11th, from 1:30 – 2:30 pm. Remember if you cannot be there, please have your proxy pick your items up for you. There will be no distribution in Fulda for the month of September.
SLAYTON LEGION AUXILIARY
The Slayton American Legion Auxiliary UNIT 64 will meet September 9th, 9:30 am at the Southwest Regional Development Commission Conference Room.
We have our regular meeting and will be finalizing and working on our Tablesetting Event.
