Guiding Others in Faith

“ Set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”

1 Timothy 4:12 (NIV)

Following last month’s celebration of Christ’s birth, we plan for the season to honor His passion, death, and resurrection through Easter. As our own lives can sometimes feel slow leading up to this celebration, it is important to guide others in faith if they are in need of it. Perhaps a matter in someone’s personal life or career could be affecting one’s faith, or even questions about their faith itself. In approaching issues such as this, as laypeople, we may find it best to guide people to open discussion, perhaps with someone such as a priest or pastor at their congregation. While we should always try to maintain our own path in faith, we can always help others do so as well.
