By Arnold Krusemark Memorial Day holiday is now over. We hope you participated in whatever events you could.
Now its the end of another month. June will bring us (normally) hot weather as well as much yard and gardening work.
Along that line we got several emails weekly with current seed and plant sales. The same is true in local stores too.
You may have gotten your garden planted but trees, shrubs and other plants can still be planted. Be sure to keep them watered if possible until they get established.
In the meantime there’s the yard mowing and garden hoeing. In addition your garden plants should be growing well. Something can now be harvested even if just a little.
Soon, if not already, watch for Farmers’ Markets. They are famous for garden overstocks as well as other items on sale.
Back home, be sure to care for your remaining inside house plants too.
You will be busy. And soon the school kids can help too.
Until next week.
