By John Stenen Have you ever thought about what God said in Isaiah 45:22? “Look unto Me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, for I am God and there is none else.” He then tells us in verse 23, that unto Him, every knee shall bow and every tongue swear (confess).”
In the Old Testament, God declares that He alone is the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last. Compare that with Revelations 1:11 and verse 17; Jesus says He is the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last. In Rev. 18:18 “I am He who lives, and was dead and behold, I am alive forevermore…” Also, in Philippians 2:9-11, Scripture tells us that Jesus has been given a name that is above all names, and one day every knee shall bow before Him, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the Glory of God the Father.” In other words, Jesus Christ is God! He came in the flesh two thousand years ago to be the final sacrifice for our sin. Eternal life is found in Him, and in Him alone. (Acts 4:12; John 14:6).
You may have many years yet to live on earth; on the other hand, you may go tonight or tomorrow, what then? If you are not saved when you leave your body - you will never have another chance to be saved. Please, surrender to Christ today and receive His free gift of everlasting life. God bless.
