By John Stenen Many Christians have wondered over the years, “Why hasn’t God brought judgment against the United States?” After all, for a large part of our population, ‘the fear of God’ has been absent. Sinful lifestyles appear to be abounding, all throughout our nation. In fact, there is no blushing or shame in the sinful things that so many do. Billy Graham once said, “If God doesn’t judge America, He will have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah.” So why have we not received divine judgment on a large scale yet? I personally believe it is because of Genesis 12:1-3, God says to Abram (Abraham), that He would make him into a great nation - He did! God also said Abram would be blessed, and his name would be great, and he would be a great blessing it happened! Then God said, “I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you.” We have been blessed these many years, because the United States has been a blessing to Israel. We had better wake up because when we start cursing Israel - we will be cursed. Today, multitudes of people, especially young people are turning to Jesus and His Church; I sincerely hope you are one of them who bows the knee to Jesus Christ. God bless.
