The MCC Senior High Knowledge Bowl team of Logan Steinle, Dawson Blankenship, Brailynn Breberg, Dayton Johnson, and Rylan Engelkes will be participating in the Minnesota Service Cooperative State Knowledge Bowl Tournament on April 7-8 in Brainard, MN. The team is coached by Sue Bau. They placed 2nd at the Regional Knowledge Bowl tournament at SMSU in March. The top three teams advance to participate in the two day tournament. The first day begins with a formal banquet where each team is introduced. This is followed by a 60 question written round in which the team works together. This determines the standings for the next day. The second day has five oral rounds of 45 questions each. The tournament concludes with an awards ceremony. The top six places earn medals from both the A and AA divisions. There is a special spirit award given to the team that shows the best team spirit and character during the competition.
