By Kathy Schwartz, Murray County Master Gardener It is time to plant spring bulbs. Be sure to add a little bone meal to the soil to encourage root development.
Crabgrass does not develop until late spring or early summer; so don’t apply any herbicide used to prevent preemerging crabgrass in the fall.
Divide peonies now through late September.
